Back in the day, I used to jump up and get to work...yep just like that! I felt if I got an early start I would get lots done and you know what? I did! Good right? Well, not entirely. My back hurt, I wasn't eating or drinking enough water. My sleep patterns were off; I was having heart palpitations, I was grumpy and on edge. When I got to work...I hated being there. There were a few factors out of my control but so many more factors within my control, starting with a better morning routine. At that time, I was working in corporate America and didn't know anything about rituals and such all I knew is that I had to get up and somehow motivate myself to get it in gear...whatever it took.Now I get up and get going in a different way. I created a routine for myself that allows me to be more sane in the morning. Now I must say that change is not easy and to create better habits takes a willingness to put in the work. A plan won't work unless you do.
